  About Mrs. Soltis

  
  

  I have a bachelor of arts degree in Elementary Education from the University of Iowa (Go Hawks!) I have been teaching in the Hopkins School District since 1990.  I began my career teaching a 5th and 6th grade combination classroom.  For 20 years I  taught third graders.  In 2012, I decided to try my hand at something new - 2nd grade!  I love it!
  

  My husband and I have 2 sons, Matthew and Nathan, whose schoolwork, activities, and sporting events keep us very busy! We also have a chocolate lab named Ripley who is very naughty! Talk about keeping us busy!!
  

  As a family we enjoy camping, boating, swimming, fishing, and playing games together!
